Iguazu falls

There seemed to be two types of traveller in Argentina, those who had been to Iguazu Falls and those who were planning to. It’s easy to see why.

On my first day, I opted for the Brazilian side of the river, to take in the panoramic view of the falls. On my second, I went to the Argentine side, and walked along winding walkways to the base and to the top of the falls, and then took a boat directly underneath them! The falls were… well, impossible to put into words, so have some pictures instead:

The “Devil’s Throat”

The absolutely stunning falls, combined with the wonderful company of my aunt and uncle, incredible food and wine, the lovely, sunny town of Puerto Iguazu, and a visit to a wildlife hospital, made for one of the best experiences of the trip so far!
